Bonnie Hunter’s Box Kite

Welcome to Scrappy Saturday.  Today we feature Bonnie Hunter’s quilt called Box Kite.  This is also the quilt that she taught us at the workshop in March, 2017.  It’s a fun quilt where Krispy Cream doughnut fabric plays with the finest batiks.  Bonnie taught us how fun it was to play with asymmetrical blocks.

You can find the pattern for Box Kite in Bonnie’s newest book, Addicted to Scraps (shown by Kim in the photo below.)  You may also purchase this book along with Bonnie’s new ruler as a package deal.  If you just want the pattern for the block you can find it in the May/June ’14 issue of Quiltmaker Magazine.
